Lakshmi and Narayan, aspects of Mahalakshmi and Mahavishnu respectively, are powerful Hindu deities, also the most celebrated Gods in Indian mythology. Vishnu, one of the Divine Trinity, is accompanied by his wife Lashmi, the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity.
Gujaratis (those from the state of Gujarat) revere Lakshmi and Narayan as the ultimate, supreme deities. Lakshmi Narayan temples in Gujarat are famous for their stunning and elaborate architecture, design and the way the deities are dressed and ornamented.
Seen here is a beautiful and breath-taking poster of Lakshmi Narayan in all Their splendor. Vishnu holds his Conch and Discus in two hands. In His other two hands are the mace and a lotus. Lakshmi holds a lotus in Her left hand and offers abhaya (succour) to all those who surrender to Her. Both Lakshmi and Narayan are resplendent, glowing with their finery, covered from head to toe in elaborate silks and jewelry.
